Kimchai...the sea of flowers are suffocatingly beautiful (meron bang ganung expression?)...but that's the first thing that came to my mind kase...i've seen the pix but didn't know you wrote a blog post on this...so sorry for being so late...i'm on an invisible mode lately...

calming photos...assuring that life is simply beautiful...thanks to those amazing eyes behind the camera...like what eng said...you've shared to us the beauty you witnessed through your magic lenses...

your photographs capture the colors of God's great work of art...thanks for sharing and reminding us that seasons change...and it's natures' wonder in itself...hmmm cool change indeed!...

"When spring comes, the land awakens, and the hills become alive."

Thanks a lot Zen, MJ, Che and Cher.

@ Zen, thanks for stopping by At The Backroads, the comments there are being moderated if the email address is new, so that's why you thought hindi pumasok, got it, and approved it. Hehehe, bago na naman kasi email mo :)

@ MJ, yes, if only we could ha? but i know at your condition right now, flying would and travel would be difficult. And me too, I had been wishing to visit your side of the country during autumn, but I do not understand why there is no "atumn break" while there is "spring break".

@ Che, thanks. How I wish, but it is okay, I am happy teaching too. I met 2 photojournalists here in San Diego, one is actually a physics professor in the same district i work with and they talk about the geology and other sciences of nature like experts (maybe they developed through the years of their exploration), so I know, I am still very far. They published books too (photo books and hiking guide books), aahhh, for now, it is just a dream, hihi. For now, my works serve my family and friends only, as I use them whenever I become tourist guide.

@ Cher, thanks again for stopping. I am glad to hear your happiness in sending your grandfather to God's paradise to rest in peace. Our condolences and prayers again Cher.

i liked the rainbow of colours the most but surely you know how crazy am i in your photos.

like zen, i love the lady behind the lens too!

quoting what MJ said, "the beauty of nature, such as all the lovely flowers you shared with us here, can easily bring smiles to our faces and make us temporarily forget the cares of the week as we enjoy the Great Outdoors, God’s gift to us. "

and i agree with che, you are one extraordinary photojournalist!

i'm slowing down a bit in respect to my late grandfather but i'm happy now to have him sent back in God's paradise to rest in peace...

beth, your spring flower photographs are gorgeous!! makes me wanna pack my bags and fly over there right now so i could go hiking with you guys and revel in the spring splendor you are so blessed with over there:) it's true ... the beauty of nature, such as all the lovely flowers you shared with us here, can easily bring smiles to our faces and make us temporarily forget the cares of the week as we enjoy the Great Outdoors, God's gift to us. i love how you emphasized "what God can do with drab and dirt" ... yes, it is amazing indeed how a desolate landscape (from winter) can be transformed almost overnight into a rich rainbow of colors, just like magic!! thanks for sharing these inspiring spring photos with us, beth, as well as your thoughts on spring. through them, i can see the hand of God, and it simply makes me smile:) have a wonderful weekend, dear beth!
